On wet hair, add enough shampoo to create a lather, focus on scalp. Rinse well with cold or warm water and follow with conditioner.

New Staple

An absolute staple in my hair care routine especially when followed up with the conditioner. Love the pure and simple so I can add my own essential oils if I want to or just keep it au-natural

Love this shampoo

I first tried the Pure and Simple hand soap and liked it enough to want to try more of this line. It just takes a small amount to get a good lather. It’s nice to have unscented natural options like this.

Great shampoo

Great shampoo that lathers. Works well, I now buy it in bulk. Not a huge fan of the conditioner but the shampoo is really excellent!

NOT PH Balanced

I wanted to like the shampoo, I really did. I love that it’s a local company. I love that they doesn’t use a lot of chemical crap in it. The problem is that it is definitely not pH balanced, and they should remove that claim. I did a litmus test and the shampoo was somewhere between an eight and a nine pH; for hair ph balance is somewhere between 4.5 and 5.5. With this alkalinity semi permanent hair color will wash out really quickly and hair can become frizzy. If they added some citric acid to the formula, as many other natural shampoos co rain, it would be truly pH balanced and then I would use it.
